After lap 2, 74 – Daniel Singleton held onto 1st place with 99 – Michael Simmons moving up to 2nd place, with 47 – Thomas Watson in 3rd. The first 3 create a larger gap with 13 – Will Green in 4th place, 5.359 seconds behind the leaders.
74 – Daniel Singleton continued to dominate the race with 99 – Michael Simmons in 2nd and 47 – Thomas Watson in 3rd.
What an opening Race to the Season !
74 – Daniel Singleton extended the gap between him and 99 – Michael Simmons, 47 – Thomas Watson in 3rd. After lap 7, 961 – Jack Sim moving up to 3rd and 13 – Will Green in 4th.
With the chequered flag out 74 – Daniel Singleton took the comfortable win 99 – Michael Simmons 4.747 seconds behind in 2nd. 47 – Thomas Watson finished 3rd with his brother 90 – Edward Watson in 4th.
Further to Post-Race Technical inspection, 99 – Michael Simmons was disqualified giving 47 – Thomas Watson 2nd place and his brother, 90 – Edward Watson 3rd place.
An the 2019 Season begins at Brands Hatch Indy, as usual. The weather in Kent has clouded over and still damp yet a dry line is starting to form.
74 – Daniel Singleton qualified P2 with a best time of 54.181. 47 – Thomas Watson gained pole position with a best time of 53.501 and 99 – Michael Simmons in P3 with a 54.899.
Daniel Singleton #74 shall be joining the Team for the 2019 Season competing in the BMCRC Thunderbike Sport Class on the Team Honda CBR600 and shall also be competing within the BMCRC MRO Minitwin Class defending his Championship of 2018.
