Thunderbike Sports Points Table After Round 1

With the first round over and 74 – Daniel Singleton settling well on the BD Racing CBR600 it was an accomplished weekend in the Thunderbike Sports.

74 – Daniel Singleton walks away with 75 points and sitting in 2nd place in the 2019 Championship.

47 – Thomas Watson takes the lead with 76 Points and 961 – Jack Sim in third with 65 points.

MRO Minitwins Points Table After Round 1

With the first round over and 74 – Daniel Singleton defending his Championship from 2018 it was a tough weekend in the MRO Minitwins.

74 – Daniel Singleton walks away with 41 points and sitting in 5th place in the 2019 Championship.

26 – Glynn Davies takes the lead with 95 Points, with 78 – Keith Povah in second with 67 points and 9 – Mark Taylor in third with 59 Points.

With Race 6 underway ,74 – Daniel Singleton took an early lead after starting on pole, with 961 – Jack Sim in 2nd place and 47 – Thomas Watson in 3rd.

74 – Daniel Singleton held 1st place until lap 4, crashing out; leaving 961 – Jack Sim taking 1st place, with 47 – Thomas Watson in 2nd and 48 – Shaun Wallis in 3rd.

74 – Daniel Singleton set the fastest lap on lap 3 with a time of 52.498.

In hindsight, starting the last race of the day on slicks was probably not the best decision; however, a good weekend all round.

With Race 4 underway 26 – Glynn Davies took the lead, with 184 – David Twyford in 2nd. 74 – Daniel Singleton determined in 3rd with 9 – Mark Taylor and 78 – Keith Povah in 4th and 5th respectively.

After lap 2, 26 – Glynn Davies remained in the lead, with 184 – David Twyford in 2nd. 78 – Keith Povah moved up to 3rd pushing 74 – Daniel Singleton into 4th with 9 – Mark Taylor in 5th.

74 – Daniel Singleton moved up to 3rd place after lap 3, with 26 – Glynn Davies still leading and 184 – David Twyford in 2nd. 78 – Keith Povah dropped to 4th with 9 – Mark Taylor in 5th.

78 – Keith Povah muscled his way up to 3rd after lap 4, with 26 – Glynn Davies still leading and 184 – David Twyford in 2nd. 9 – Mark Taylor moved up to 4th pushing 74 – Daniel Singleton into 5th.

Positions kept jostling with 9 – Mark Taylor moving up to 3rd with 26 – Glynn Davies still leading and 184 – David Twyford in 2nd after the 5th lap. 78 – Keith Povah was forced down to 4th with 74 – Daniel Singleton in 5th.

Positions didn’t change after lap 6.

After lap 7 74 – Daniel Singleton moved up to 4th after overtaking 78 – Keith Povah. The first 3 positions remained the same.

74 – Daniel Singleton continued moving up the pack to 3rd after lap 8. 26 – Glynn Davies remained in the lead with 9 – Mark Taylor in 3rd. 184 – David Twyford was down to 4th with 78 – Keith Povah in 5th.

After lap 9, 74 – Daniel Singleton had passed 9 – Mark Taylor in to 2nd place chasing 26 – Glynn Davies who was still leading. 184 – David Twyford remained in 4th with 78 – Keith Povah in 5th.

With the chequered flag out, 26 – Glynn Davies took his 3rd win in the MRO Minitwin Class. 9 – Mark Taylor pipped 74 – Daniel Singleton to 2nd with 184 – David Twyford remained in 4th with 78 – Keith Povah in 5th.

With 74 – Daniel Singleton in Group A, the battle for points continued between groups B and C.

666 – Shane Beasley reaped the rewards finishing 1st, with Rookie 104 – Alex Robinson in 2nd and Rookie 261 – Michael Benn in 3rd.

72 – Kevin Miller, who finished 5 set the fastest lap on lap 9 with a time of 54.029.

74 – Daniel Singleton started the race on pole and took an early lead with 961 – Jack Sim in 2nd place and 47 – Thomas Watson in 3rd.

After lap 2, 47 – Thomas Watson had moved up to 2nd place, pushing 961 – Jack Sim into 3rd. 74 – Daniel Singleton remained in 1st place.

After lap 3, 99 – Michael Simmons took the lead from 74 – Daniel Singleton, pushing Daniel into 2nd place. 47 – Thomas Watson remained in 3rd. 961 – Jack Sim was chasing the top 3 in 4th place.

74 – Daniel Singleton continued to dominate the race and extending the gap between him and 47 – Thomas Watson in 2nd place and 961 – Jack Sim in 3rd.

With the chequered flag out 74 – Daniel Singleton took the comfortable win with 47 – Thomas Watson 7.541 seconds behind in 2nd. 961 – Jack Sim finished 3rd.

With Race 3 underway 184 – David Twyford took the lead, with 78 – Keith Povah in 2nd and 26 – Glynn Davies in 3rd. 74 – Daniel Singleton ahead of 9 – Mark Taylor in 4th.

After lap 2, 78 – Keith Povah took the lead followed by 184 – David Twyford with 9 – Mark Taylor moving up to 3rd after pushing 26 – Glynn Davies into 4th and subsequently 74 – Daniel Singleton into 5th.

9 – Mark Taylor moved up to 2nd place after lap 3, with 78 – Keith Povah still leading. 26 – Glynn Davies moved up to 3rd with 184 – David Twyford still in 4th and 74 – Daniel Singleton in 5th.

After lap 4 184 – David Twyford moved up to 3rd and 74 – Daniel Singleton in to 4th, pushing 26 – Glynn Davies into 5th.

The battle continued during lap 5 with no change to the race positions.

After lap 6 74 – Daniel Singleton moved up to 3rd behind 9 – Mark Taylor in 2nd and 78 – Keith Povah in the lead. 26 – Glynn Davies moved to 4th with 184 – David Twyford in 5th.

During Lap 7, 74 – Daniel Singleton crashed out, allowing 26 – Glynn Davies to take his second win of the weekend, with 78 – Keith Povah in 2nd and 184 – David Twyford in 3rd.

74 – Daniel Singleton continued to dominate the race with 99 – Michael Simmons in 2nd and 47 – Thomas Watson in 3rd.

With the chequered flag out 74 – Daniel Singleton took the comfortable win 99 – Michael Simmons 4.288 seconds behind in 2nd. 47 – Thomas Watson finished 3rd.

The first 3 riders raced close with no change for 3 laps.

During Lap 6, 74 – Daniel Singleton crashed out, allowing 26 – Glynn Davies to take the win, with 78 – Keith Povah in 2nd and 184 – David Twyford in 3rd.
