BMCRC -R3 – CADWELL PARK – TBS RACE 4 (A & B)

Thunderbike Sport – Race 4 (Groups A & B)

Further to the issue faced in the last race yesterday, it was identified that the bike ‘cut-out’ due to a loose connector on the ECU. With the ECU and connections firmly in place 74 – Daniel Singleton set off to the holding area.

74 – Daniel Singleton started the race in P21 on the grid due the issues faced in Race 1 the day before.

After Lap 1 74 – Daniel Singleton had moved up to 5th place with 217 – Aaron Staniforth in 1st, 54 – Adam Jamison in 2nd and 93 – Jack Wallis in 3rd.

After lap 2, 74 – Daniel Singleton remained in 5th place and the same riders in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

After lap 3, 74 – Daniel Singleton moved up to 4th place and the same riders in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

, 74 – Daniel Singleton remained in 5th place and the same riders in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. remained in 4th place during lap 4 and 5, chasing 93 – Jack Wallis in 3rd; 54 – Adam Jamison remained in 2nd and 217 – Aaron Staniforth leading.

During lap 6 , 74 – Daniel Singleton crashed out with 217 – Aaron Staniforth taking the chequered flag, 54 – Adam Jamison in 2nd with 13 – Will Green in 3rd.

93 – Jack Wallis set the fastest lap on lap 8 with a time of 1:49.358.

Thunderbike Sport – Race 3 (Groups A & C)

Further to the issue faced during Race 1 and with a ‘drying’ line the Team fitted Wets to ensure no issues were encountered.

With Race 3 underway ,74 – Daniel Singleton took an early lead with 135 – Daniel Ingham in 2nd place and 93 – Jack Wallis in 3rd.

After lap 2, 93 – Jack Wallis passed 135 – Daniel Ingham moving up into 2nd place, behind 74 – Daniel Singleton in 1st; looking comfortable.

Lap 3 and 4 saw 74 – Daniel Singleton continued to dominate the race with 93 – Jack Wallis in 2nd and 135 – Daniel Ingham in 3rd.

With the chequered flag in sight 74 – Daniel Singleton came over the mountain and preparing to tip into Hall Bends the bike cut out, forcing 74 – Daniel Singleton to retire with disappointment.

93 – Jack Wallis went on to win, with 135 – Daniel Ingham in 2nd and 961 – Jack Sim in 3rd.

74 – Daniel Singleton set the fastest lap on lap 4 with a time of 1:44.026.

Thunderbike Sport – Race 2 (Groups B & C)

With 74 – Daniel Singleton in Group A, the team closely watched the weather; whilst Groups B & C battled for points.

217 – Aaron Staniforth reaped the rewards finishing 1st, with 54 – Adam Jamison in 2nd and 13 – Will Green in 3rd.

217 – Aaron Staniforth set the fastest lap on lap 3 with a time of 1:48.811.

The weather in Lincolnshire was very changeable. A dry line had formed and 74 – Daniel Singleton headed to the holding area with Super Corsa’s fitted. With the riders waiting to be released, the heavens opened. With a mixture of Wets and Drys the riders looked at each other in disbelief.

With Race 1 underway ,74 – Daniel Singleton applied damage limitation with the bike sliding all over the place; dropping down to 13th.

217 – Aaton Staniforth took the lead with 93 – Jack Wallis in 2nd and 191 – James Seath in 3rd.

As the race progressed, both 74 – Daniel Singleton and the team watched in disbelief as 74 – Daniel Singleton dropped slowly down the order of race but amazingly keeping the bike on the track in the aweful conditions.

With the chequered flag out, 217 – Aaron Staniforth took 1st with 93 – Jack Wallis in 2nd and 54 – Adam Jamison in 3rd. 74 – Daniel Singleton finished 22nd.

217 – Aaron Staniforth set the fastest lap on lap 8 with a time of 1:49.154.

BMCRC – R3 – Cadwell Park – TBS QUALIFYING

Thunderbike Sport – Qualifying

Two rounds complete and it is off to Lincolnshire, and the home of Motorcycle Racing for Round 3. The weather is cold and wet.

74 – Daniel Singleton qualified P4 with a best time of 1:59.287.

93 – Jack Wallis qualified pole 1:56.380 with 217 – Aaron Stanforth in P2 with a 1:58.66 and 135 – Daniel Ingham in P3 with a 1:59.162.

Thunderbike Sports Points Table After Round 2

It was a successful round for 74 – Daniel Singleton with him dominating both races in the Thunderbike Sports.

74 – Daniel Singleton walks away with 125 points after two 1st places ensuring the he takes lead in the 2019 Championship.

961 – Jack Sim moves up to second with 94 points; with 666 – Shane Beasley in third with 83 points.

BMCRC -R2 – Oulton Park – TBS RACE 2

Thunderbike Sport – Race 2

With the last race of the day underway ,74 – Daniel Singleton took another early lead with 961 – Jack Sim close on his rear tyre. Rookie 464 – Luke Stoneman was holding his own in 3rd with 666 – Shane Beasley in 4th place.

After lap 2, 961 – Jack Sim took the lead and pushed 74 – Daniel Singleton into 2nd place. Rookie 464 – Luke Stoneman remained in 3rd place with 666 – Shane Beasley in 4th.

74 – Daniel Singleton claimed the lead back after lap 3. Rookie 464 – Luke Stoneman also passed 961 – Jack Sim moving up into 2nd place.

74 – Daniel Singleton continued to lead with the 3 riders battling for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.

After lap 6 the leading 4 riders starting lapping the slower riders, allowing gaps to form being caught in traffic.

With the chequered flag out 74 – Daniel Singleton took the comfortable win, with 666 – Shane Beasley 10.368 seconds behind in 2nd. 464 – Rookie Luke Stoneman finished 3rd. 961 – Jack Sim finished 4th.

74 – Daniel Singleton set another fastest lap on lap 7 with a time of 1:50.844.

With Race 1 underway ,74 – Daniel Singleton took an early lead with Rookie 464 – Luke Stoneman in 2nd and 54 – Adam Jamison in 3rd place.

74 – Daniel Singleton continued to dominate the race; extending his lead with every lap. 464 – Luke Stoneman remained in 2nd place with 54 – Adam Jamison in 3rd. 666 – Shane Beasley and 961 – Jack Sim battled for 4th place.

With the chequered flag out 74 – Daniel Singleton took the comfortable win, with Rookie 464 – Luke Stoneman 18.073 seconds behind in 2nd. 54 – Adam Jamison finished 3rd.

74 – Daniel Singleton set the fastest lap on lap 5 with a time of 1:48.409.

Thunderbike Sports Points Table After Round 1

With the first round over and 74 – Daniel Singleton settling well on the BD Racing CBR600 it was an accomplished weekend in the Thunderbike Sports.

74 – Daniel Singleton walks away with 75 points and sitting in 2nd place in the 2019 Championship.

47 – Thomas Watson takes the lead with 76 Points and 961 – Jack Sim in third with 65 points.
