2022 MRO Minitwin Champion

David started racing in 2003 part way through the season in BMCRC Rookie 400 championship on his converted road bike Kawasaki ZXR400.

In 2004 David moved up to the main Supersports 400 class where he gained his first podium. David then Challenged for the SS400 title in 2005 despite suffering multiple injuries and being airlifted to hospital during that season.

2006 David went up onto a Yamaha R6 and was sponsored by MHP for 2006 MRO Supersports 600 which David also occasionally entered the Open 1300 races against the 1000cc bikes with top 10 finishes.

David missed most of 2007 racing and switched onto a Yamaha R1 at the end of the year getting 3rd at Lord of Lydden.

2008-2010 David only entered wildcards rounds in MRO Powerbikes due to his ambulance service work commitments and personal circumstances.

David did a full season of Superstock1000 with Thundersport GB in 2011 on the same R1 still getting podiums, followed by a few years of not racing or only doing wildcards in Supersports 600 again.

2019 returned to full time racing this time entering MRO Minitwins on a Suzuki SV650 finishing 4th overall.

2020 David fractured and paralysed his arm competing for the Minitwins title, came back fully recovered in 2022 and won it.

David is also an ACU instructor with Bemsee.

David is looking forward to racing the BD Racing ZX6R in MRO 600 rounds and retaining his title in Minitwins for 2023.
